Returns Summary
- 30-day returns on unused items for change of mind
- Items must be unused and in original packaging
- Shipping costs are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns

Returns Policy
Returns (Change of Mind)
Our returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, your item must:
- Be unused and in the same condition that you received it
- Be in its original packaging
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Non-Returnable Items (Change of Mind)
The following items are non-returnable for change-of-mind reasons:
- Gift cards
- Sale or discounted items (unless faulty or not as described)
- Limited-edition, collectable, signed, race-used, or one-of-one items (see below)
Limited-Edition, Collectable, Signed, Race-Used & One-of-One Items (Important)
Certain items sold by Pit-Lane Motorsport are limited-edition, collectible, signed, race-used, or one-of-one memorabilia. Due to their unique, irreplaceable, and collectable nature:
- These items are non-returnable for change of mind once delivered
- This includes items that are signed, numbered, authenticated, race-used, or produced in strictly limited quantities
- One-of-one and race-used items are sold as-is as historical or collectible artefacts
Condition & Natural Characteristics
Collectable, signed, and race-used items may display minor imperfections, wear, marks, or ageing consistent with their history, use, signing process, or display. These characteristics form part of the item’s authenticity and do not constitute faults.
Product images and descriptions are provided to accurately represent condition at the time of sale. Customers are responsible for reviewing these before purchase.
Authentication
Where authentication details, certificates, or descriptions are provided, these form part of the item listing. No guarantees are made beyond the authentication information stated at the time of sale.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Collectibles
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If a limited-edition, collectable, signed, race-used, or one-of-one item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, you are entitled to a legal remedy. As replacement may not be possible, this may include a refund or partial refund, depending on the circumstances.
You must notify us within 30 days of delivery by contacting contact@pit-lane.co.uk before returning any such item.
Returned items must be received in the same condition as supplied. Any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the item may result in a reduced refund or refusal of return.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items (Statutory Rights)
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a full refund within 30 days of delivery in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This includes:
- A refund of the item price
- A refund of the original standard delivery cost
- Reasonable return postage costs
Please contact contact@pit-lane.co.uk before returning any faulty or incorrect items so we can provide return instructions.
Partial Refunds (If Applicable)
Partial refunds may be granted where:
- An item shows signs of use or handling beyond what is necessary to inspect it
- Parts or packaging are missing for reasons not due to our error
Items returned more than 30 days after delivery are not eligible for a refund.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to confirm receipt and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed within 7 days and automatically applied to your original method of payment.
For change-of-mind returns, refunds apply to the cost of the item only.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund yet:
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your credit card company, as posting times may vary
- Contact your bank, as processing delays can occur

Sale Items
Sale or discounted items are non-refundable, unless they are faulty or not as described.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
If you believe your item qualifies for an exchange, please contact contact@pit-lane.co.uk before returning it.

Gifts
If an item was marked as a gift at checkout and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of the return once the item is received.
If the item was not marked as a gift, or the order was shipped to the purchaser first, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns
- Shipping costs are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns
- For faulty or incorrect items, original delivery charges and reasonable return shipping costs will be covered where applicable
Delivery times for exchanged items may vary by location.
For items valued over £50, we recommend using a tracked shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
