Original Speedcar Series Driver Biography Cards – Six Former F1 Drivers

Original Speedcar Series Driver Biography Cards – Six Former F1 Drivers

A fascinating and unusual piece of motorsport memorabilia from the short-lived Speedcar Series (2008–2009), featuring six former Formula 1 drivers who competed in this exciting V8 stock car championship.

Established in the Middle East and Asia, the Speedcar Series brought together established international racing drivers competing in identical 620bhp V8 stock cars. Despite attracting some famous names from Formula 1, the championship lasted just two seasons, making memorabilia from the series particularly interesting to collectors.

Item Details:

• Johnny Herbert – Former Benetton, Lotus and Stewart F1 driver and 2008 Speedcar Champion.

• Gianni Morbidelli – Former Ferrari, Minardi and Sauber F1 driver and 2008–09 Speedcar Champion.

• Jean Alesi – Former Ferrari and Benetton Formula 1 star.

• Stefan Johansson – Former Ferrari and McLaren F1 driver.

• Narain Karthikeyan – India's first Formula 1 racing driver.

• Ukyo Katayama – Former Tyrrell and Minardi F1 driver.

• Presentation: Six individual driver biography cards supplied together in a presentation sleeve.

An unusual addition to any Formula 1 or motorsport memorabilia collection, celebrating a largely forgotten racing championship featuring some of Formula 1's most recognisable names.

All our memorabilia is carefully inspected and packaged before dispatch.
